WHAT IS DTS?

DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SCHOOL

Find your PASSION, your PURPOSE and your PLACE in God's kingdom

When a follower of Jesus begins to take their faith seriously, a whole world opens up before them—full of potential, purpose, and calling. But with that wide-open future can come uncertainty. What's next? How do I hear God's voice clearly? How do I walk in my true identity?

The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is your roadmap for this journey. In this immersive, five-month school, you'll walk step-by-step into deeper intimacy with God, learning to recognize His voice, study His Word, and rely on the Holy Spirit as your guide.

This is a powerful time for deep personal work. As you draw closer to God, you'll find freedom from past hurts and strongholds, and experience healing from the wounds of trauma and broken identity. You'll gain a profound understanding of the goodness of God and His restoration work in your life.

But transformation doesn't stop there. As you are poured into, you'll be equipped to pour out—learning how to share the Gospel boldly, serve others cross-culturally, and live out the Great Commission. DTS is more than a school. It's a launching pad where calling becomes clear, community becomes family, and the unknown future becomes a daily walk of faith.

Lecture Phase

Each week of the Lecture Phase introduces a key theme of following Jesus and then immediately invites you to practice it. You’ll be challenged to apply what you’re learning in real time, through daily rhythms of worship, community, outreach, and personal reflection.

Each week includes:

  • Live teachings from experienced missionaries, pastors, and leaders from around the world

  • Workshops and team activities that drive the message deeper

  • Daily spiritual disciplines like journaling, intercession, and Bible meditation

  • Community feedback and mentoring, so growth isn’t done alone

Each week builds on the last like a layered foundation that grows stronger as you go. By the end of Lecture Phase, you will be walking out your faith confidently, with a community around you and the Holy Spirit within you.

Take action in faith

Outreach Phase

After 3 months of being filled up, it's time to pour out. The Outreach Phase is a cross-cultural missions experience where you and your team will live out what you’ve learned—together.

Whether you're in a remote boarding school in Liberia Africa, or on a First Nations Reservation, this time is all about:

  • Boldly sharing the Gospel with everyone from first time listeners, to former believers

  • Serving local churches and ministries in tangible, practical ways as Jesus did

  • Stepping into leadership, often in unpredictable environments with the support of your team behind you

  • Letting the Holy Spirit lead, moment by moment remembering that everything we do comes from Him

This is the start of a lifestyle of dependence, humility, and love. Expect long travel days, deep relationships, unexpected miracles, and practical impact. The world is full of people waiting, and you’re being sent to them.
