MISSION POSSIBLE
Local volunteer opportunities for retirees, professionals, and anyone with a heart to serve
The work of a mission base requires more than just those on the front lines; it requires a dedicated team of "behind-the-scenes" heroes who ensure our operations are seamless and our facilities are ready for ministry. Mission:Possible is our local volunteer program designed for those who want to use their professional skills or practical talents to make an eternal impact. Whether you are a retiree looking to invest your decades of experience or an individual with a few hours to spare each week, your contribution is what allows our global mission to continue.

From specialized maintenance and administration to hospitality and groundskeeping, we have a place for your unique abilities. Your service doesn't just support the base—it makes the mission possible.

What to Expect
Joining the Mission:Possible team is a straightforward process designed to respect your time and maximize your impact. We want to ensure that your service is both fulfilling for you and effective for the mission.
-
Flexible Commitment: Whether you have two hours a week or two days a month, we work around your schedule. There is no minimum time requirement—every hour contributed moves us forward.
-
Simple Onboarding: Once you submit your form, we’ll reach out for a brief conversation to get to know you, discuss your unique skills, and find the right fit on our team.
-
Support & Community: You won't just be "working"—you’ll be part of our community. We provide the tools, the coffee, and the connection to the bigger picture of what God is doing through YWAM.

Mission:Possible Team Spotlights

Meet Fauhn: The Heart of the Office
Fauhn travels all the way from Texas to bring her specialized skills to our administration team. With a sharp eye for detail and a heart for service, she helps our base by organizing files and assisting with bookkeeping. Along with her expertise, she brings a wonderful dry humor and a deep love for people that encourages everyone who walks into the office. Fauhn proves that "office work" is a vital ministry that keeps our mission on track.
Meet Lee: The Jack-of-all-Trades
A retired local firefighter, Lee is a "Mission:Possible" hero in the truest sense. Though he has slowed down in this season of life, his impact on our base is massive. From fixing the ice machine and changing lightbulbs to mentoring and leading mission teams, Lee uses his decades of practical experience to further the Kingdom. His "can-do" attitude and firefighter’s heart for service make him an essential part of our daily operations.
